CASA FRIENDSBehind the direct investigative work of our Volunteer Advocates is a dedicated membership auxiliary group - CASA Friends.  CASA Friends support the administrative and operational responsibilities of our program. CASA Friends is involved with organizing and staffing a variety of fundraising, volunteer appreciation and community awareness events, as well as general office duties (i.e. mass mailings, database maintenance, filing, etc.). CASA Friends are community representatives who work with CASA to accomplish the following: 1) developing working relationships within the community in order to help identify issues which impact the welfare of the children in Lauderdale County; 2) staying abreast of community issues and activities and determining ways that CASA may be affected or have an impact; 3) developing and implementing funding projects for the continuance of the CASA program 4) advocating for the mission of CASA and CASA’s program operations.
